  • Is a private dog trainer better than public dog training classes?

    • Both have their advantages.  Private Dog training means your dog gets all the attention and none of the distractions of other dogs.  Public Training classes help with socialization with other dogs and introduce you to other pet Parents going through the same thing you are.  
    • We offer socialization through free outings in town and an online forum for you to engage with our other members of the Perfect Pup Community and our dog trainers any time of the day.  

  • What are the costs?

    • Our monthly plans start at $125 per month.
    • We offer many affordable dog training options and pricing schedules to fit your financial and dog training needs.  

  • What all can you teach my dog?

    • We welcome new challenges! Do you have something in mind that we don’t have specifically listed? Tell us about it and we’ll try to help with any issue you might be dealing with.

  • Aggressive Dog Training

    • Yes, we work with both human-aggressive and dog-aggressive dogs
    • Each aggressive dog situation is different and precautions like a muzzle, dog crate, or extra owner assistance may be required in the initial phase.”
    • We understand that there is a bite risk, which is why medical records are a prerequisite before any training can begin.

  • What does my dog need to begin?

    • We do need to verify your dog is current on all vaccinations.  We request a copy of your most recent vet records to begin. 
    • Some of their favorite treats.
    • A tired dog is a happy dog, a walk or play time before a training session will only increase the success of the session.  This is definitely recommended but not required.  
    • Consultation is free. A down payment is required prior to the first session.
